About Me

My photo
First off , welcome to my blog ! Here I will be posting different projects , sculpts , tutorials that I upload on Youtube and other bits and pieces. I'm a self taught 3D/2D artist that tries to constantly get better with each project , if I succeed at that or not it remains to be seen , but either way , practice makes perfect right ?

Underground Lost Civilization

This is my first concept art , dunno' if I can call it finished or not but at the moment I'm fresh out of ideas , will be coming back to it if necesary. It took me about 7-8 hours to make using Photoshop and a Wacom Bamboo tablet.

In the end I think it went pretty good and regarding the fact that this is my first stab at concept art it went pretty good.

Anyway , here's what I'm talking about :

Maya Basic Texturing and Rendering Tutorial

In this tutorial I went over some basic texturing techniques , shaders and rendering.

I didn't go into too much detail as the primary aim was to create something for those who just opened up a scene and wanted to know how to make some quick shaders and textures and have a basic idea of what a renderer does and what it's capable of with just a few settings and tweaks.

You can check it out over here :

ZBrush Zangief Sculpt ( Time Lapse )

My second recorded speedsculpt so far done in ZBrush in about and hour , give or take.

What I've learned? Well again I need to make use of more brushes , need to learn to make proper eyes and lips , they are a little better I guess since the last sculpt but I'm still not too pleased with how they came out...

But anyway , enjoy and feel free to throw in some constructive critique if you so desire !

Practice , practice , practice...

The songs are :

Ace Attorney - Court Begins Blue Note Scale
Phoenix Wright - Objection

Cheers guys !

Maya Basic Modeling Tutorial - Motorcycle

The next tutorial is up on youtube. I wanted to make something that could help some beginners out , it's a little on the long side ( 13 parts ) and I didn't manage to bring it to 100% but that was never to goal , plus I didn't have enough time on my hands and it would probably go on for something like 20+ parts...

But anyway , you can find it on my channel over here :

Just go to the playlists and check it out if you so desire.
Cheers !

Zbrush Time Lapse Head Sculpt

This is one of my speed sculpts except this time I decided to record the hole thing. The actual time it took me to make it is about 1 hour , give or take. I kept on redoing the eyes , the cheeks and some other bits and I lost some time because of that , either than that I'm pretty pleased with what came out of it , practice , practice , practice...

The songs if you're interested are :

1 - The Glitch Mob - Warrior Concerto
2 - eDIT - Straight Heat

Maya Basics Tutorial

These were recorded using Camtasia Studio 7. They're also the first recordings I ever made , in the end I had to make a small script so that I wouldn't "fumble the ball" as much , being the first time I recorded myself .

It took pretty much a hole day to make and it's pretty heavy edited at some places as some of you may have seen , but in the end I think it accomplishes what it's set out to do. I will be making more in the future , overall it was a pretty fun "project" so I'm actually looking forward to the next one that I'll be making .

If you have questions or anything please comment or even subscribe on my channel , you can find it in the links tab above !

My Logo Animation

This animation was done using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. Took around 6 hours to make mainly because I never had a certain direction in mind , I just added and kept on building as I went along.

I suppose I could've made something even more interesting but I'm pretty pleased with what came out of it.

For the sounds I used a little Fruity Loops to make a 7 second loop , edited out in Camtasia and then added a few more special effects sounds I stumbled upon on the net. The end result is what you can see below :
